Point Alliance staff collected non-perishable food items for the Daily Bread Food Bank and unwrapped toys for CP24/CHUM Christmas Wish foundation this holiday season.
"I am very proud of our staff for their donations", states John Zarei, Chief Technology Officer at Point Alliance. "This can be a difficult time of the year for individuals and anything we can do to help make the holiday season a little happier, especially for the children, is the least we can do."
About the Daily Bread Food Bank
Daily Bread Food Bank is a non-profit, charitable organization that is fighting to end hunger in our communities. Daily Bread Food Bank fights hunger by providing food and resources for hungry people; mobilizing greater community support and creating social change through research, education and advocacy.
About the CP24/CHUM Christmas Wish
The CP24/CHUM Christmas Wish has become one of the largest distributors of toys to those in need in the Greater Toronto Area, as well as providing financial assistance to hundreds of agencies. With many funding cuts in recent years, the CP24/CHUM Christmas Wish has become the last hope for many to give a child a Christmas. With generous financial donations and new unwrapped toys, the CP24/CHUM Christmas Wish supplies registered charitable organizations, social service agencies, churches, and community centres. In turn, they distribute the donations to those families, of many faiths and cultures, who require our support.
